To address the specific requirements of heavy-duty pipe internal coating (like our recent customized project for the Triangle Oilfield in Egypt), CoatTech engineered a fully automated material handling and coating system.

1. Automated Heavy-Duty Step-Beam Transfer: We replaced traditional rolling racks with a synchronized step-beam mechanism. This ensures heavy drill pipes are smoothly indexed, separated, and transferred horizontally without violent collisions, protecting the pipe threads and external surfaces.


2. Dual-End Precision Clamping & Centering: For flawless internal coating, the spray lance must remain perfectly centered inside the pipe. Our customized dual-end clamping system securely lifts and aligns each pipe to an absolute horizontal axis, eliminating vibrations during the high-pressure internal spraying process.


3. Space-Saving Overhead Conveying for Curing:
After coating, the pipes are automatically transferred to a heavy-duty overhead chain conveyor. This vertical suspension method maximizes workshop floor space and allows for 360-degree uniform heat distribution in the curing oven, ensuring the anti-corrosion layer cures perfectly without support marks.
